Focus, the key for Success
Have you every wondered what happens behind the scenes when you focus?
When you focus your mind, you conserve your energies and do not dissipate them on irrelevant thoughts or activities and that gives you the fuel needed to charge towards your destination at lightening speed.
Focus is vital for anyone aspiring to be more efficient and take charge of his or her life. It is an indespensable trait to achieve any kind of success.

When it comes to concentration, distractions hurt you more than you realize. We all want to be, do and have more, but how many will pay the price: to act?
Before I talk about distractions, let me talk about the power of “Dreams”.
Keep asking yourself, what is your dream ? No, I am not talking about winning the lottery.
I’m talking about a vision deep inside that speaks to the very soul. It’s the thing we were born to do. It draws on our talents and gifts. It appeals to our highest ideals. It sparks our feelings of destiny.
Dreams are very important because without a dream, we may struggle to see potential in ourselves because we don’t look beyond our current circumstances. But when we have a dream, we begin to see ourselves in a new light, as having a greater potential and being capable of stretching and growing to reach it. Write all your dreams as strong determinations on a piece of paper.
The power of belief, the power of thought, will move reality in the direction of what we believe and how we conceive it. If you really believe you can do something, you can. That is a fact.
When you clearly envision a victorious outcome, engrave it in your heart and are firmly convinced that you will attain it, your brain makes every effort to realize the mental image you have created. Then, through your unceasing efforts, that victory is finally made a reality.
It does NOT matter where you are situated today, you may be miles away from your dream, but dare to believe that your dream is your destiny.

Napoleon, despite humble parentage, became an emperor. Beethoven brought to life his inner vision for music when he composed symphonies, even after he lost his hearing. Charles Dickens dreamed of becoming a writer and became the most-read novelist in Victorian England–despite being born into poverty.
Now, take time to ask yourself, are you willing to give up your comforts in order to go up? Realize that the more you think about your dream you will be able to measure everything you do according to whether or not it contributes to your dream, concentrate your attention on the things that bring you closer to it and giving less attention to everything that doesn’t.
If you are an astronaut, then what I am about to elucidate will serve as your rocket and will take you to your destination faster:
Remove distractions to stay focused
Distractions include people, emails, social media notifications and phone calls. People will tell you it’s difficult to cut all distractions. I disagree. It’s easy, cutting out distractions has a direct connection with how passionate you are about your dreams. Making sure your desk is tidy ,removing anything that might distract you is secondary, thinking about what you want and how to make that a reality will automatically lead to you cutting down your distractions. Believe it or not , you will find yourself gravitating to a space that is calming, a home office, café or in nature.
If your mind is full of clutter, then take time to write everything down to clear your mind or meditate or pray for a short period of time. Your mission will help direct your time and energy towards the things that matter most to you and help you stay focused on those all-important goals.
Think on these lines,
- What do you value?
- What do you believe in?
- What do you want to achieve or accomplish?
- How are you doing things differently than others?
Limit your daily goals to 3 items
Break your goal into smaller milestones. It’s much easier to stay focused and on track towards milestones because they seem more reasonable than our long-term goals, yet, it’s still sending us in the same direction. Carefully construct a set of milestones that will help you move forward rather than holding you back towards achieving your goals. Having fewer tasks to accomplish in each milestone will help you work with greater intention on those tasks and your mind will be less apt to stray. Write them down in a piece of paper and you can get creative here, put in some pictures of how you want your new home to look like if that’s your goal. Anything outside of the 3 goals need to go to in the separate do list.
Keep Short Deadlines
Give yourself a shorter time frame to finish your work and make yourself accountable. When you are up against a deadline, we suddenly develop a laser-like focus and avoid distractions at all costs. When you know you have to get something done, you’ll figure out a way to do it.
Being mindful
The key to heightened productivity is to notice when your mind is distracted and bring your attention back on task. This means paying attention to your thoughts and recognizing when your mind starts drifting. This allows you to manage what you focus on and redirect your thoughts when you slip up. Instead of allowing yourself to keep looking at social media to check out your newsfeed, actively put the brakes on this distraction.
Steer your mind towards wholesome thoughts to stay motivated
The quality of your thoughts determines the quality of your life, and so in order to grow, you have no choice but to first watch your thoughts closely, then root out negativity and replace it with more productive thinking.
Having a healthy mindset doesn’t mean that you won’t encounter negative emotions like anger or frustration —, a mind that is healthy knows how to replace negative thoughts with hope , self- love & strong determination. Do not try to sweep negative emotions under the rug, you will only intensify them until your subconscious finds a way to get them out. So, take charge of your thoughts and your life.
Visualization is a powerful technique that can help you focus, stay motivated and achieve your goals. By creating a mental picture of yourself successfully completing a job, even the worsts tasks can feel like part of achieving something big.
Remember, motivation starts within. Find it, keep it and make it work for you.
Track everyday progress & meticulously follow plan
When you track your progress, you naturally become more purposeful about the work you do. Which can create the kind of meaning that so many of us search for in our daily work. You also have more insight into the value you’re creating and can show your boss or team lead the results of your daily tasks.
You are all set now to go forth and conquer! Sending you good vibes and positive energy.😇🥰
